THANKS TO ALL pet parents and pooches who came out on a beautiful day before Easter to have a good time for a great cause! YOU RAISED $2,400 to help us care for the homeless shelter pets!
Congratulations to Easter Bonnet winner “Annie” and pet mom Tami Gumpert of Eldridge and the three winning bonnet finalists. TAIL WAGS to bonnet judge Linda Cook, Laura Anderson Shaw from the Moline Dispatch/Argus and all local media for providing fantastic coverage of our event!
APAWS! APAWS! to doggie treat donors Loving Paws Bakery of Moline and Ralston Purina AND our amazing dedicated and hard-working volunteers Shelly Jacobs, Nancy Kime, Ardith Frandsen and John LaBella who went above and beyond to make sure our 2015 event was the best EVER!
A couple hundred dogs and their best friends joined us at our 10th Annual Doggie Dip on August 14th at the Fejervary Family Aquatic Center pool in Davenport!
All those paddling paws and feet helped raise over $1,200 for the animals. The promised match from event sponsors Noble Birch Wealth Management will bring the total raised to $2,000!
THANK YOU to faithful Doggie Dip sponsors Noble Birch Wealth Management, raffle prize donors The Barrel House, Loving Paws Bakery, Animal Playground and Looking Sharp Grooming and everyone who brought items from our shelter Wish List. See you all again next August!
Our third annual Dog Day Afternoon Crawl for a Cause event on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 was the best yet! Thanks to sponsors Riverboat Development Authority, Petco Foundation, Mediacom and 7G Distributing, hosts The Barrel House, Great River Brewery, Dam View and Front Street Brewery, raffle prize and silent auction item donors, shelter event committee and event volunteers and 70 “crawlers” who helped us raise over $5,000 for the homeless pets at our shelter!
