Will to Give

Show your love for animals during and after your lifetime by including the Humane Society of Scott County in your financial and estate plans.  Your legacy gift may qualify for substantial tax deductions and lifetime income for you and your family. Iowa taxpayers making a gift to the Humane Society of Scott County Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend are eligible for Endow Iowa Tax Credit benefits.  The income tax credit of 25% of the gifted amount is in addition to the federal income tax deduction for a charitable donation. Whether you remember the HSSC in your will, through gifts of life insurance or stock, a charitable gift annuity or trust fund, our future depends on YOU!

THANK YOU to The Golden Lynch Foundation for affirming our commitment to humane care, shelter pet adoption and community education by establishing the Golden Lynch Humane Society Endowment through the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend.
